Meet & Greet Panel Discussion
Hosted by the New Zealand Film Commission (NZFC) and coordinated by NZTW Global Sourcing Connection, this session brought together Taiwanese Indigenous creatives led by actress Ado Kaliting Pacidal with New Zealand film professionals.
The discussion explored Amis and Māori cultural connections, Indigenous storytelling, and future opportunities for creative collaboration across Taiwan and New Zealand.

New Zealand Taiwan Day
NZTW Global Sourcing Connection has supported New Zealand Taiwan Day through programme planning, event direction and MC services.
Our role included coordinating cultural performances, shaping the event programme, and working closely with organisers and community partners to create an engaging and well-connected experience.
Held in Auckland over three consecutive years, New Zealand Taiwan Day celebrates cultural exchange, community connection and the vibrant links between New Zealand and Taiwan.
EXCLUSIVE REPRESENTATION
Documentary Film – Musical Healers of the Land
NZTW Global Sourcing Connection served as the exclusive representative for this cross-cultural documentary, highlighting the musical and cultural connections between Māori and
Taiwanese Indigenous artists.
Through music, storytelling and shared heritage, the film celebrates the meaningful relationships between Indigenous communities in New Zealand and Taiwan.
2020–2021 | Pioneering Transnational Cross-Cultural Music Programme
NZTW Global Sourcing Connection – Sole New Zealand Representative & Co-Producer
A cross-cultural television programme bringing together Māori and Taiwanese Amis artists through music,
storytelling and shared cultural heritage.
Produced for audiences in Taiwan and across Asia, the project helped create a meaningful platform
for cultural exchange and collaboration between New Zealand and Taiwan.
SOURCING & CONNECTION
Sourcing Taiwan | Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center
Representing Wrights Vineyard & Winery, NZTW Global Sourcing Connection supported the presentation of New Zealand organic wines at Sourcing Taiwan, creating opportunities to connect with potential partners and explore new market possibilities in Taiwan.
The event was organised by Taiwan’s Bureau of Foreign Trade and implemented by TAITRA.

Taiwanese Film – Long Time No Sea
Set in Taiwan’s Indigenous community on Orchid Island, Long Time No Sea is a heartfelt story of culture, identity, family and belonging, inspired by director Tsui Yung-hui’s experience with local Tao children and the Little Flying Fish dance troupe.
Through cultural storytelling and performance, the film offers a meaningful window into Taiwan’s Indigenous heritage and its connection to the wider world.
